Above Tumlingtar below Khandbari is a place called Dhungedhara. Anyone can make a general argument that the name of this place is Dungedhara based on the stone ridges. It is said that the origin of that stone stream was when Kirant Raja, who was visiting the place and became thirsty, shot an arrow at the stone and drew water. According to another myth, the five Pandavas who had gone to listen to Veda Vyasji’s Puranas at Sabhapokhari were returning from this road along with their Lavalaskar.
