There is a place called Nun Dhaki in Sankhuvasabha, here there are temples of Tatopani Mahadev, Simha Devi Bhagwati, Panch Kanya, Sat Kanya, Indra, Bhima etc. It is also known as Chaurasi Dham because of its many gods and goddesses. There is a myth about how it got its name Noondhaki. Among the five Pandavas, Mahila Bhimasena was very strong. No one could beat him in strength work. One day he was deeply impressed by the enchanting scenery of Menchemchuli and thought that he could build a temple at that place.
Bhimsen, who fell asleep thinking like this while sleeping, also had a similar dream, according to which he had to build the temple by carrying the Ajanga stones from the Piluva River and going to Menchemchuli overnight, i.e. before the rooster crows. So much jabo work was like a left hand game for him. He picked up as many stones as needed to build the temple from Piluva river and carried them to Menchemchuli. After reaching the top, he thought – How long does it take to work so awake? I will get tired here for a while and then I will complete the rest of the work. He was lying down on a bed with heavy stones, fell asleep and woke up only when he heard the crowing of the rooster. Oh my god, how is it fixed, Let it go. The rooster said that the temple will not be built anymore, he left the heavy stone there and went on his way with a sad heart. The local Limbu community started to call that heavy stone in Limbu language as lungkhyaki which means heap of stones. Over time, it was corrupted by Ludthaki and became covered with salt.
