A place called Surtibari in Dharmadevi municipality, a little south of the confluence of Arun and Piluwa, is the main footpath for pedestrians going to Madhesh without the Arun. In this place, there is a smooth and sometimes perforated Bhimkaya stone, which is called Ajingare stone. A huge and powerful dragon used to live on this rock. He would remain silent until he was hungry, and when he was hungry, he would swallow whatever people or animals he found around him by breathing in them. The breath of the dragon was so strong that it dragged and swallowed the plough, bullocks and plow yokes that were being plowed in the fields across the Arun towards Bhojpur. People suffering from the terror of dragons prayed to Lord Indra when there was no other option. Indra was pleased by the prayer and immediately threw a thunderbolt and killed the dragon. That stone was named Azingare Dhungo.
