Kalopokhari

It would drag and eat one person every day after seeing a person walking on the road.

On the way to Sabhapokhari from Gidhe Danda, going towards Sabhapokhari, you will find a pond in the forest below the road which is called Kalopokhari. According to the myth, this pond was on the same road but its habit was very bad. It would drag and eat one person every day after seeing a person walking on the road. As its excess increases, one of the jankris will be very suffocated. Jhankri chanted a mantra and made the pond fall from the road to the forest, then suddenly the Batuwas were freed from the terror of the black pond. Even now, when he sees a person on the road, the black locust wipes its mouth and throws a bucket of water towards the person.
