Activity Overview
12-Day Tumlingtar to Lukla Trek
The Tumlingtar to Lukla Trek is a moderate and less crowded trekking route that connects the Makalu region with the Everest region. It offers amazing views of Mt. Makalu (8463m), Mt. Everest (8848m), and other peaks in the Mahalangur Himalayan range. The trail passes through two beautiful national parks of Nepal — Sagarmatha National Park and Makalu Barun National Park — and reaches Salpa Bhanjyang (3350m), the highest point of this trek.
This trek is now easier with basic teahouses available along the way, allowing trekkers to carry lighter backpacks. You can also hire a local porter guide to carry your bag (15–20 kg), so you can enjoy the journey without too much stress.
